LESSONS

One of the main components of MAPEX DRUM MASTERCLASS are the individual Lessons. These have been carefully and thoughtfully designed with the aspiring beginner drummer in mind. We have tailor made these drum Lessons in such a way that they will gradually increase your ability to read drum music without suddenly becoming overwhelming or too difficult.

The Lessons themselves are extremely comprehensive covering all the basics of reading notes and counting out beats in different time signatures, progressing through to playing intricate syncopated 1/16 note patterns.

Once you've mastered the basics, you can continue your training with our Lesson Expansion packs, which cover topics such as Triplets, 6/8 & 12/8 time signatures, Tied Notes, Drum Rolls and Accents.
